What is Lent?

Lent is a 40 day season of fasting, almsgiving, and prayer. It is a period where we prepare ourselves for Easter celebration. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday (March 2nd, 2022), and ends on Holy Thursday (April 14th, 2022).

Lenten Activities & Events at St Mary Parish

Ash Wednesday - March 2nd 2022

• 8am Mass - English
• 6pm Mass - English
• 7pm Mass (Our Lady of Fatima, Olathe)
• 8pm Mass - Spanish

Penance Service - March 3rd 2022

• The service begins at 6pm.

Stations of the Cross: 

• Fridays, 12pm - Led by the Knights of Columbus
• Fridays, 7pm (Spanish)
• Friday, April 15th @ 5:30pm  - Living Stations of the Cross (Spanish)

Fish Fry:

• Every Friday from 5:30pm-7pm; except Good Friday - $15 per adult, $5 per child (6-12). Children under 6 eat free.​
