OCIA
Order of Christian Initiation of Adults

What is OCIA?

Sometimes we know adults, teens, or children over the age of seven years who have not yet been Baptized but wish to be.  We also sometimes encounter individuals who have been Baptized in another Christian denomination but who now desire to be received into the Catholic faith.  These individuals—and their parents if they are children or teens—need to meet with the Director of Catholic Formation and Religious Education to discuss their formation process and the classes they will need to complete prior to Baptism or the reception of the Sacraments of Confirmation, Eucharist (Holy Communion), and Reconciliation (Confession).
